Ingredients
- 200 grams tuna
- 12 pieces baguette slices
- 100 grams cream cheese
- 15 grams fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 piece garlic clove
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
Cooking instructions
- Prepare baguette slices — Slice the baguette into 12 thin rounds. Lightly brush each slice with olive oil on one side.
- Toast the baguette — Toast the oiled side of the baguette slices in a hot pan or oven until golden and crisp. Remove and let cool slightly.
- Prepare tuna mix — In a bowl, combine drained tuna with cream cheese, finely chopped fresh parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a creamy, herb-infused tuna spread.
- Prep garlic for rubbing — Cut the garlic clove in half. Rub the garlic cut side gently on the toasted baguette slices to impart subtle garlic flavor.
- Assemble crostini bites — Spread a generous amount of the tuna herb mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
- Serve — Arrange the crostini on a serving platter. Optionally, garnish with additional parsley leaves for freshness before serving.
