- 50 grams cream cheese
- 10 grams chives

- 12 units toasted baguette slices
Cooking instructions
- Prepare the Bacon Cups — Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Grease a muffin tin and line each cup with a bacon strip, forming a small basket. Bake for 12 minutes until bacon is crisp but still pliable.
- Cook the Eggs — While bacon is baking, boil the eggs for 10 minutes until hard boiled. Cool and peel the eggs.
- Make the Egg Filling — Mash peeled eggs in a bowl. Mix in cream cheese, finely chopped chives, and black pepper to taste until a smooth creamy texture forms.
- Fill Bacon Cups — Remove bacon cups from oven and let cool slightly. Spoon the egg mixture evenly into each bacon basket.
- Prepare Bread Base — Toast baguette slices until golden brown. Place each filled bacon cup on top of a baguette slice to serve as a base.
- Serve — Garnish with extra chopped chives and a light sprinkle of black pepper. Serve warm or at room temperature as elegant appetizers.
