Ingredients
- 250 grams fresh salmon fillet
- 1 piece ripe avocado
- 0.25 piece red onion
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill
- to taste sea salt
- to taste black pepper
- 12 pieces mini lettuce leaves
- 0.5 piece cucumber
Cooking instructions
- Prepare the Salmon — Remove any skin and bones from the salmon fillet. Cut the salmon into small, even cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Dice the Avocado and Onion — Peel and pit the avocado, then dice it into small cubes. Finely chop the red onion. Add both to the bowl with the salmon.
- Mix the Tartare — Add capers, fresh dill (chopped), lemon juice, olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Gently toss everything together to combine without mashing the avocado.
- Prepare the Cups — Wash and dry the mini lettuce leaves carefully. Thinly slice half a cucumber into ribbons using a peeler.
- Assemble the Tartare Cups — Place a cucumber ribbon in each lettuce leaf cup. Spoon a generous amount of the salmon avocado tartare onto each cup.
- Serve Fresh — Arrange the tartare cups on a serving platter. Garnish with an extra sprinkle of fresh dill if desired. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
