Ingredients

  • 4 pieces tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Cooking instructions

  1. Prepare Tilapia Fillets — Pat the tilapia fillets dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat Oil and Sear Fish — Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add tilapia fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove fish and keep warm.
  3. Make Lemon Butter Sauce — In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic cloves. Cook for 1-2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
  4. Add Lemon Juice and Parsley — Stir in lemon juice and half of the chopped fresh parsley. Cook sauce for another minute, then remove from heat.
  5. Plate and Garnish — Pour lemon butter sauce over the tilapia fillets. Garnish with remaining fresh parsley and serve immediately.
