Ingredients
- 200 grams chicken breast
- 200 grams chicken thighs
- 200 grams ground beef
- 100 grams chicken wings
- 1 medium onion
- 3 pieces garlic cloves
- 100 grams breadcrumbs
- 1 piece egg
- 50 grams parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Cooking instructions
- Prepare the meatball mixture — Finely chop the chicken wings, chicken breast, and chicken thighs, then mix with ground beef in a large bowl.
- Add flavor and binding ingredients — Add finely chopped onion, minced garlic cloves, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, grated parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture. Mix thoroughly until combined.
- Form and cook meatballs — Shape the mixture into medium-sized meatballs. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.
- Bake meatballs — Transfer browned meatballs to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked inside.
- Assemble the subs — Slice sandwich rolls lengthwise, fill them generously with hot meatballs, and add optional toppings like tomato sauce or cheese if desired.
- Serve and enjoy — Serve the meatball subs hot as a satisfying handheld main dish.
